The roofing tile according to the invention can be economically produced in the extrusion method with low material costs, has a signficantly reduced weight, and has strength comparable to conventional roofing tiles over the long term. The roofing tile can be combined both with further roofing tiles according to the invention and with conventional roofing tiles in order to form a roof-covering assembly.
