摘要： A digital motor control system includes a flip-flop and latch (20, 24) for receiving motor circuit drive data from a microprocessor, a counter (34, 36) for counting to a predetermined value representing the total duration of a motor drive pulse, a comparator (26, 28) for comparing the incrementing counter value with the motor circuit drive data stored in the latch (24) to provide a pulse width modulation signal, a drive gate (48) controlled in part by said pulse width modulated signal for applying a drive signal for motor control, and a brake gate (50) for applying a brake signal for motor control. Delay circuitry (56) provides delays in the drive and brake signals to prevent possible overlap of such signals which could lead to destructive current spikes. A shift circuit (42, 44) delays the pulse width modulated signal to avoid noise created by state transitions in the comparator (26, 28).

摘要： A digital printhead energy control system includes a first storage device (20) for receiving hammer pulse duration data, a second storage device (22) for receiving hammer pulse energization data and for producing a trigger signal and hammer pulse energization signals, a counter (48, 50) for counting to a value equal to the value stored in the first storage device (20), a comparator (40, 42) for comparing the value stored in the first storage device (20) with the incrementing counter value, latch means (58) for latching the output of the comparator (40, 42) to produce an end pulse signal, first gating means (30) for combining the end pulse signal and a reset signal for controlling the clearing of the second storage device (22) and terminating the hammer pulse energization signals, and second gating means (38) for combining the trigger signal and a reset signal for controlling the clearing of the counter (48, 50).
