摘要： An apparatus of this invention is directed to an information processing apparatus that continues detection of an instruction of an operator even if the reliability of instruction information detection has lowered due to a device fault, degradation of the environment, and the like. The information processing apparatus includes an instruction history accumulator that accumulates a history of at least two different pieces of instruction information detected from a user and an instruction of the user in association with each other, an instruction information receiver that receives the instruction information, an instruction recognizer that recognizes the instruction of the user from the received instruction information by referring to the history of the instruction information, a reliability determiner that determines the reliability of the received instruction information by referring to the history of the instruction information, and an instruction information changer that changes the instruction information to be received to another instruction information by referring to the history of the instruction information when the reliability determiner determines that the reliability of the received instruction information has lowered.

摘要： When an input device is connected via a communication interface, a mobile phone determines whether a local device can control the input device. When it is determined that the local device cannot control the input device, the mobile phone requests a server connected via a wireless communication network to control the input device. The mobile phone controls signal transfer between the input device and the server via the communication interface and the wireless communication network so that the server can control the input device by establishing communication between the input device and the server. In response to the request from the mobile phone, the server controls the input device via the established communication with the input device.

The information processing system includes a mobile phone, and a server. The mobile phone includes a determiner that, when an output device is connected via a communication interface, recognizes the output device and determines whether the mobile phone can output data in a format processable by the output device, a requester that, when the determiner determines that the mobile phone cannot output data processable by the output device, transmits a request to the server connected via a wireless communication network to supply the data in the format processable by the output device, a receiver that receives the data provided by the server, and a transmitter that transmits the data received by the receiver to the output device via the communication interface. The server transmits the data in the format processable by the output device to the mobile phone in response to the request from the requester.
