摘要: An image input device (10) is capable of reading original mediums (20) of different sizes. The input device (10) includes an original holder (21), an illumination assembly (40), and an image composing assembly with first and second imaging assemblies (91, 101) having different magnifications. An image reading assembly having at least one sensor (93, 103) reads an image formed by the image composing assembly. An optical path switching assembly (80) switches between a first optical path (90), which directs the reflecting light to the first imaging assembly (91), and a second optical path (100), which directs the reflecting light through the original to the second imaging assembly (101). A focusing assembly (110) detects the focus condition of the image composed by the image composing assembly and performs a focusing operation. A driving assembly (120) drives both the focusing assembly (110) and the optical path switching assembly (80).
