摘要: The present invention has as an object to provide a method and apparatus for decomposing waste plastics, whereby a method of supplying reaction energy for decomposition reaction of the waste plastics has been fundamentally solved with a reaction mechanism taken into consideration, to realize high-efficiency decomposition of the waste plastics at relatively low temperatures and efficient recovery of decomposed products of high utility value. Into a reactor (20), a heat-reserving heating medium employing, for example, a granular silica-alumina material is charged after preheated outside of the reactor and at the same time a crushed waste plastics is supplied. A mixture of these materials forms fluidized beds (86a to 86e, 88a to 88e). While these fluidized beds are being moved in a specific direction within the reactor, heat energy for decomposition is supplied from the heat-reserving heating medium to decompose the waste plastics. At the same time, a volatile matter produced by this decomposition is passed through in the fluidized beds, being led to the outside at a volatile matter discharging port and recovered, while a nonvolatile matter is taken out together with the heat-reserving heating medium at the medium discharging port, being separated and recovered from the heat-reserving heating medium.

摘要: The invention relates to the technology of liquefying waste plastics, particularly the technology of liquefaction utilizing the mechanism of extruders, in order to control effectively the cracking for effectively preventing carbon deposition and efficiently recovering the products with desirable compositions. To this end, waste plastics are continuously liquefied by thermally cracking the plastics while conveying the same through a multi-stage reactor composed of reactors 1a, 1b and 1c that are joined to each other and equipped with, respectively, conveying means 3a, 3b and 3c therein. More specifically the method comprises forming a melting zone and a cracking zone in order in the direction of conveyance in each reactor or a series of the reactors functioning as a unit, melt liquefying solid waste plastics in the melting zone, forming at the bottom of the reactor in the cracking zone a shallow liquid-phase portion comprising the liquid component formed in the melting zone, while forming above the liquid-phase portion a gas-phase portion that comprises the vapor component evaporated from the liquid-phase portion and that has a sufficiently large volume as compared with the liquid-phase poriton, and leading the vapor component filling the gas-phase portion to the outside, where the vapor component is cooled and recovered as an oily substance.

摘要: An apparatus for decomposing waste plastics, capable of minimizing the occurrence of carbon during a decomposition reaction by enabling a gasified component, which is produced from a liquid phase polymer, to be separated speedily and efficiently from the liquid phase polymer, and capable of recovering gasified component of desired molecular weight efficiently by enabling the decomposition reaction to be carried out in the condition in which the temperature of the liquid phase polymer as a whole is set uniform, whereby the decomposition of the waste plastics can be carried out at a reasonable cost. This apparatus for decomposing waste plastics comprises a decomposition chamber adapted to heat a liquid phase polymer and formed of a vertically disposed cylindrical body, and a rotary body provided in the interior of the decomposition chamber, having a shape substantially in conformity with that of an inner surface of the decomposition chamber and provided with a helical thread on an outer surface thereof, a downwardly flowing liquid phase polymer being thermally decomposed as it is scraped up and agitated by the thread in a reaction space formed between the inner surface of the decomposition chamber and an outer surface of the rotary body.
