A liquid which has entered in the button's hollow interior can be drawn through the channel (30) off the hollow interior.

    摘要： An attaching device (10) for attaching a socket member (28) of a snap fastener to a garment has a post (12) having a circular flange (13) extending from a cylindrical stem (12) and a cap (14) mounted thereon. The circular flange (13) has a central portion (17), an intermediate inclined annular step (18), a radially outward annular shoulder (19), and a plurality of radial ribs (20) extending radially inwardly from an end (15) of the stem (12) to the inclined annular step (18). The central portion (17) of the flange (13) has a surface (25) adjacent to the inclined annular step (18) and held against a rounded wall (21) of the cap (14). The end (15) of the post (12) is axially spaced from the rounded wall (21) of the cap (14) with a clearance (27) left therebetween. The annular shoulder (19) of the flange (13) is locked in position by an annular curled rim (24) of the cap (14). Any impact force applied when the attaching device (10) is staked on the socket member (28) is distributed uniformly to the flange (13), preventing the cap (14) from being deformed.

    摘要： A snap fastener for use on garment pieces (12, 15) comprises a male member (10) attached by a first rivet (11) to one of the garment pieces (12) and a female member (10) attached by a second rivet (14) to the other garment piece (15). The male member (10) includes a first cylindrical wall (16) having an annular rim (18) snapped in an annular groove (29) defined in a second cylindrical wall (24) of the female member (13). The male member (10) and the first rivet (11) have reinforcing ribs (23,35) biting in the garment piece (12) sandwiched therebetween, and similarly the female member (13) and the second rivet (14) have reinforcing ribs (31,35) held in biting engagement with the garment (15) sandwiched therebetween. The male and female members (10,13) and the first and second rivets (11,14) are prevented by these reinforcing ribs (35) from rotating with respect to the garment pieces (12,15), an advantage which manifests itself especially where the first and second rivets (11,15) have directional ornamental patterns on their heads (32). The first and second cylindrical walls (16,24) of the male and female members (10,13) have slots (20) and cavities (28) to allow the annular rim (18) to resiliently fit snappingly into the annular groove (29) without cracking or deforming the male and female members (10,13). The first and second rivets (11,14) have pointed shanks (33,33) piercing the garment pieces (12,15) and fitted in the male and female members (10,13), respectively. The pointed shanks (33) have angularly spaced ridges (36) held in frictional engagement with the male and female members (10,13) to prevent backlashes between the first and second rivets (11.14) and the male and female members (10,13).

    摘要： A fastening for use on a garment comprises a base (16), and at least two flat spikes (13, 13) initially projecting from the base (12) for being pierced through the garment into apertures (15a) of a hasp (15), and then for being deflected into a clenched condition against the hasp (15), there being at least two cold-pressed grooves (16,16) each opening into an outer surface of the fastening and extending longitudinally thereof across a shoulder or joint (17) between the base (12) and a respective one of the spikes (13). The fastening accordingly has a greater hardness in a region around the grooves (16) than at other regions thereof so that the fastening is resistant to bending or other deformation around the grooves (16) when the spikes (13) are pierced and clenched.
