摘要: A sealing device comprising a sealing device main body (3) having a seal lip (33) which is slidably brought into close contact with an outer peripheral surface of a rotating shaft (2), and an oil injection port (12) for injecting oil (O) toward a position at an outer peripheral side from said seal lip (33) in the sealing device main body (3). The sealing device is provided with an oil scattering means (4) for rebounding the oil (O) injected from said oil injection port (12) to a portion in the vicinity of a sliding portion (S) of said seal lip (33) so as to scatter the oil (O). The oil scattering means (4) is constituted by a disc-shaped slinger (44) which rotates together with the rotating shaft (2), and the slinger (44) is provided with a plurality of holes (44c) which are arranged in a circumferential direction at radial positions where the oil (O) injected from the oil injection port (12) comes into collision.

摘要: A sealing device in which durability of a seal lip is enhanced by enhancing the function of supply of lubricant to a seal lip slide portion. The sealing device is attached to the inner periphery of a shaft hole in a housing and comes into intimate slidable contact with the peripheral surface of a shaft inserted in the shaft hole. The sealing device has a sealing device body and an oil supply member. The sealing device body integrally has a tubular fixation portion fixed to the inner periphery of the shaft hole in the housing and also integrally has a seal lip coming into intimate slidable contact with the peripheral surface of the shaft. The oil supply member integrally has a tubular fitting portion fitted to the inner peripheral side of the fixation portion and also integrally has a flange-like oil supply portion provided so as to extend radially inward from the fitting portion. The oil supply portion is placed closer to the sealing fluid side than the tip of the seal lip. A radially inwardly extending protrusion is provided at the inner peripheral edge of the oil supply portion. An oil transmission groove is provided in the protrusion so as to extend toward its tip.

摘要: An oil seal (1) having an installation section (2) attached to a housing (21) and a seal lip (4) in slidable contact with the peripheral surface of a shaft (23), wherein the function of supplying lubricating oil to a portion on which the seal lip (4) slides is enhanced to improve durability of the seal lip (4). To achieve this, a lubricating oil supply section (11) for dropping adhered oil on to the shaft (23) is provided at a head portion of the installation section (2). The lubricating oil supply section (11) has projections (12) formed on the inner peripheral surface of the installation section (2), and the oil is collected on the surface of the projections (12). On the surface of each projection (12), there is formed either of a recess (13) for temporarily containing the oil and a guidance projection or a slope for collecting the oil. Also, a dam is formed on a head surface (2a) of the installation section (2) , and the dam backs up the oil flowing down along the circumferential direction on the tip surface (2a) and guides the oil toward each projection (12).
