摘要: The application provides an assembly comprising a housing (20) having an electrical housing connector (50) and a strip port (40) for a BGM sensor arranged in the vicinity of the electrical connector. The assembly further comprises an external electrical connector (60) adapted for releasable connection to the housing connector, wherein the external electrical connector comprises a portion (62) adapted to block the port opening when the external electrical connector is connected to the housing connector, thereby preventing insertion of a strip in the port when the two connectors are connected to each other. In this way it is prevented in a simple and cost-effective manner that a patient via an inserted strip is subjected to a too high voltage or current supplied to the circuitry of the electronic device.

摘要: The invention relates to : A liquid medication delivery device (1) for delivering an intended dose, said delivery device including means (11) for holding a cartridge (12), a cartridge (12) for holding a liquid (16) to be fully or partially injected into a body, said cartridge (12) having an outlet (121) connected to a needle at one end (123) and a moveable wall (122) at another end (124), said movable wall (122) having an inner (1221) face and an outer (1222) face, and a piston rod (18) being operable to engage and displace said movable wall (122). The object of the present invention is to reduce the overall injection time, while improving the dose accuracy for a liquid medication delivery system. The problem is solved in that the piston rod is adapted to sequentially advance the outer face of said movable wall to return to a position corresponding to the intended dose. This has the advantage of improving the performance of the delivery device. The invention may e.g. be used in pen type or doser type injection devices or in pump type infusion devices for continuous delivery of medicaton in connection with the treatment of a disease such as diabetes.

摘要: The invention relates to: A medication delivery device (1) for delivering a specific dose comprising a medication cartridge (11) having an outlet (111) and a piston (112), and means (12) for holding said cartridge, and a piston rod (13) being operable to engage and displace said piston, and electrically driven actuating means (15), and driving means (161, 162) for transferring movement from said actuating means to said piston rod, and memory from said actuating means to said piston rod, and memory means (17) for storing data, and processing means (18) for evaluating said data and for controlling said actuating means. The object of the present invention is to provide a medication delivery system that combines a relatively high dose accuracy with the use of relatively low quality mechanical components and which enables compensation for built-in non-linearities. The problem is solved in that a first set of data (19) describing the actual movement (130) of said piston rod (13) relative to said medication cartridge (11) as a function of the movement (150) of said actuating means (15) is stored in said memory means (17), and the movement (130) of the piston rod (13) governing the delivered dose is controlled by the processing means (18) on the basis of said first set of data (19). This has the advantage of allowing compensation for mechanical inaccuracies and built-in non-linearities. The invention may e.g. be used in injection or infusion devices for a person's self-treatment of a disease such as diabetes.
