    摘要: A titanium product 1 includes an inner layer portion 3 and a surface layer portion 2 that is joined to the inner layer portion 3. A chemical composition of the surface layer portion 2 consists of, by mass%, O: 0.4% or less, Fe: 0.5% or less, Cl: 0.020% or less, and the balance: Ti and impurities. A chemical composition of the inner layer portion 3 consists of, by mass%, O: 0.4% or less, Fe: 0.5% or less, Cl: more than 0.020% and 0.60%, and the balance: Ti and impurities. The inner layer portion 3 has pores. The area fraction of the pores in the inner layer portion 3 in a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the titanium product 1 is more than 0% and not more than 30%. The Cl content (Cl I ) of the inner layer portion 3, a thickness (ts) of the surface layer portion 2, and a thickness (t I ) of the inner layer portion 3 satisfy the expression [Cl I ≤ 0.03 + 0.02 × ts/ti].

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a titanium material having an iron content of 0.60% by mass or less and an oxygen content of 0.15% by mass or less, with the balance being titanium and unavoidable impurities, the titanium material having a worked structure formed by working accompanied by plastic deformation and a recrystallized structure formed by annealing after the working, wherein the titanium material is formed such that the average particle size of crystal grains of the recrystallized structure is 1 µm or more and 5 µm or less, and the area of a non-recrystallized part in the cross-sectional area of the titanium material is more than 0% and 30% or less.
