摘要： A pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet, in which offending odors from viable microorganisms have been suppressed to a level that cannot be detected by the senses, is provided. This PSA sheet has a PSA layer which contains as a base polymer an acrylic polymer. When PCR amplification of DNA extracted from the PSA layer is carried out with 16S rDNA as the target, and the fluorescence intensity is measured after, first, isolating the amplified 16S rDNA region by gel electrophoresis, then staining with SYBR Gold and irradiating with excitation light having a wavelength of 302 nm and an intensity of 500 µW/cm 2 , the fluorescence intensity at a wavelength range of 548 nm to 630 nm measured for a band containing the 16S rDNA region is less than 5.5×10 5 per gram of a PSA sample used in measurement.

摘要： A water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) composition having a low perishability is provided. This PSA composition includes as a base polymer an acrylic polymer and, when held in a 30°C atmosphere for 5 days, the number of viable microorganisms present per milliliter of the composition following such storage is less than 10 6 cells. Such a composition may be produced by employing viable cell-free water containing essentially no viable microorganisms as, of the water used in the course of production, at least the water used in a step subsequent to a final step in which the composition is held continuously at a temperature of at least 60°C for at least 30 minutes.
