    摘要: User data files for electronic images and/or other types of information are stored in a server coupled to a display such as a television set and having interfaces with one or more communication networks. Priorities of individual user data files are modified based on prior activity regarding those files. File activities affecting priority can include enlarging an image, editing an image and copying an image to another folder. When the user views an array of thumbnail images, thumbnail images are only displayed for user data files meeting a priority threshold. The user can adjust the priority threshold so as to increase or decrease the number of thumbnail images shown. The invention is applicable to numerous types of data, files and file formats, as well as to numerous manners of providing information regarding files.

The user interfaces (e.g., “widgets”) may provide information to a mobile device user by displaying the interfaces in a predetermined location on a mobile device display. As information pertaining to content of the user interfaces changes, the status of the information in the user interfaces may change accordingly. In one example, an event user interface may provide information pertaining to the event and may be updated based on changes to the event. For example, the number of participants may change. This information may be provided in the user interface. In addition, user interfaces may be selected, modified, arranged, organized or otherwise manipulated at a server and downloaded to the mobile device.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for receiving a signal used in a synchronous digital telecommunications system, such as the SDH or SONET system. In the method, pointer interpretation is performed where a receiver has three possible main states, the receiver entering from one main state to another under the control of event number counting, said main states being a normal state (NORM), a loss of pointer state (LOP) and an alarm state (AIS), and said events comprising reception of a new pointer (new_point) indicating a new pointer value, wherein the number of successive new pointers is counted, and, when being in the loss of pointer state (LOP), the normal state (NORM) is entered after the new pointer (new_point) has been received a predetermined number of times in succession. To improve the recovery rate of data transmission, the counting of the new pointers (new_point) is continued upon transition from the normal state (NORM) or the alarm state (AIS) to the loss of pointer state (LOP) irrespective of said state transition.
