Abstract:
A geometrical characteristic analysis system comprising a format storage unit (9) storing therein a predetermined geometrical characteristic format; a chart data generation unit (10) generating chart data based on the geometrical characteristic format; printing unit (16) creating a test chart by printing marks on a recording medium such as a printing form based on the chart data; an imaging unit (17) outputting a chart image by imaging the test chart; a mark center calculation unit (12) calculating the center of each mark using the chart image; and a fitting unit (13) analyzing the geometrical characteristic by comparing the calculation result produced by the mark center calculation unit (12) with the chart based on the geometrical characteristic format and then performing fitting so that the square error of the mark positions is minimized.
Abstract:
An image recording device comprising an input image memory, buffer memories, a position memory for storing, corresponding to respective nozzles, transfer start positions in the input image memory, transfer destination positions in respective buffer memories, and overlapped widths between the respective recording heads, a scanner, a position calculating unit for calculating transfer start positions, transfer destination positions and overlapped widths from read-in test pattern data, and an image transfer unit for transferring images in the input image memory to the respective buffer memories according to transfer start positions in the position memory, whereby the image recording device can be increased in speed and reduced in costs because there is no need of subjecting a multi-value image to geometrical correction to thereby require no devices for the correction.
