摘要： The invention provides a film that includes chloride-containing vinyl polymer and a stabilizer component, wherein the film has a 96-hour Volatile Organic Compound Emission Factor of no more than 1,000 µg/m2/hour. The invention also provides a film that includes vinyl chloride polymer and a stabilizer component comprising a stabilizer and a diluent, wherein the diluent comprises a monohydric alcohol having 12 or more carbon atoms. Also described are methods of stabilizing a chloride-containing vinyl polymer film, a system for providing a low VOC releasing chloride containing vinyl polymer film, and methods of printing a chloride-containing vinyl polymer film.

摘要： The present invention provides a hydrophobic, oleophobic and stain resistant fabric comprising a woven, non-woven, or knitted fabric substrate coated with a polymer system comprising a scrub resistant first layer and a second layer comprising a fluoropolymer bonded to the scrub resistant first layer. A method for producing a hydrophobic, oleophobic and stain resistant fabric including the steps of selecting a suitable fabric substrate and applying first layer to form a scrub resistant first layer; drying and curing the scrub resistant first layer; applying a fluoropolymer coating over the first layer to form a second layer; and drying and curing the second layer. Articles comprising a fabric as described herein are also provided.

A preferred process for forming said polymer by reacting the hydroxyl terminated polymer with a polycarboxylic acid under appropriate conditions to form an ester linkage and then adding and reacting that product with polyester forming reactants.

摘要： A substrate having an adherent and stain resistant layer having durability and flexibility, said layer comprising the reaction product of a reactive polyester having free carboxylic acid and/or hydroxyl groups, a hydroxyl terminated polymer including repeat units from an oxetane having pendant CH2-O-(CH2)n-Rf groups (said Rf groups generally being a fluorinated alkyl group) and an amino resin curative. The substrate may be printed or embossed or both. The coated substrate has both stain resistant properties and dry erase properties with dry erase markers. The coated substrate can be used as prepared or applied to other substrates.
