    摘要: A method for chromatographic separation wherein components contained in a liquid feedstock or the like are separated by passing the feedstock through a packing layer which is regulated in the degree of separation between the components by using two or more kinds of packings different in the degree of separation between the components in an intermingled state, thus giving fractions enriched in the components respectively at high purities and high recoveries with a decreased amount of use of the desorbing agent such as eluent; and equipment for chromatographic separation wherein three or more components can be separated by using a first packing exhibiting a high degree of separation between a medium-affinity component and a weak-affinity one and a second packing exhibiting a high degree of separation between a strong-affinity component and a medium-affinity one in an intermingled state to regulate the degree of separation of the packing layer between respective two of the three components, thus giving three or more fractions enriched in the respective component.

    摘要: A simulated moving bed type chromatographic separation apparatus is provided in which a plurality of columns each filled with a hydrophobic adsorbent for reversed-phase liquid chromatography having a relatively low affinity for tocotrienol than that for tocopherol are connected cyclically and in series. To the chromatographic separation apparatus, a raw material fluid containing at least several tens of percent of tocopherol and tocotrienol and consisting substantially 100% of oil constituents and an eluent of ethanol-water = 90/10 are supplied so that a fraction fluid enriched with tocotrienol is separated from tocopherol. With this configuration, preparation of tocotrienol from a raw material fluid containing a large amount of tocopherol and tocotrienol can be achieved in a commercial scale through a method not too different from the conventionally known simulated moving bed type chromatographic separation and the initial investment cost and running cost can be reduced.
