摘要： A 1,2,4-triazole derivative which exhibits excellent herbicidal effects on predominant weeds in paddy fields, lawns and fields even in a small dose, but is harmless to turf and crops, and represented by general formula (I), wherein R?1 and R2¿ may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen or methyl; R?3 and R4¿ may be the same or different and each represents halogeno, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower haloalkyl, lower haloalkoxy or cyano; R5 represents methyl or ethyl; and X represents oxygen or sulfur.
