摘要: The present invention is a processing method for glass substrate, wherein heat is applied to a glass substrate 1 so as to raise the temperature of the glass substrate 1, then an indenter 2 is pressed to apply a relatively small external force, and thereafter the glass substrates 1 is cooled down so as to form a compression stressed part 4 having a different etching rate from that of the other parts with respect to an acidic medium (etching reagent to be used), on the surface of the glass substrate 1 and in the vicinity thereof, and chemical etching by the acidic medium is performed on the glass substrate 1 having the compression stressed part 4 formed thereon, so as to form a relief on the surface of the glass substrate 1. The invention is also a processed glass product and a stress applying apparatus.
