摘要： The invention relates to a river turbine (1) which comprises a fairing (3), a generator (22) that is driven by a first turbine wheel (5) and is housed in a volume formed by the fairing so as to generate an electric current when a first stream of water (9) sets the first turbine wheel in rotation, a passage for a second stream of water (10) that passes through the fairing (3) without passing through the first turbine wheel, and also a second turbine wheel (7) designed to exert a pumping action on this second stream of water (10). The passage of the second stream of water (10) is designed to cause the water to accelerate through the first turbine wheel.
