    摘要: An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator system (20) includes a plurality of elevator cars (22, 24, 26, 28, 30), a plurality of car identifiers (52, 54, 56, 58, 60), a plurality of location identifiers (62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80), and a controller (90). Each of the location identifiers (62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80) is configured to be situated in a selected location of the elevator system (20) and provides a unique identification to the selected location. The controller determines a location of each of the elevator cars (22, 24, 26, 28, 30) based on at least one indication of the associated car identifier (52, 54, 56, 58, 60) being at the location of a corresponding one of the location identifiers (62, 64, 66, 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, 80).
