摘要： In a plasma display device, a lighting percentage is calculated from a video signal inputted into the plasma display device, and such an output current of a DC-DC converter (140) as is equal to the discharge current for a maintenance period corresponding to that lighting percentage is fed in synchronism with the generation timing of the discharge current. With this configuration, a maintenance pulse voltage can be kept constant even if the discharge current for the maintenance period of each subfield abruptly varies.
