摘要： A template (1) for use in forming a stucco pattern (5) on a wall (3) which comprises a plurality of grooves (9) comprises two pairs of spaced apart guide members (10) which are pivotally connected together by hinges (12), and the respective pairs of guide members (10) are connected by adjustable connecting members (14). Guide surfaces (16) on the guide member (10) form a guide opening (20) for accommodating the blade (51) of a trowel (2) for guiding the trowel (2) over a plaster layer (6) for forming the grooves (9). Working surfaces (17) of the trowel blade (51) slidably engage the guide surfaces (16) as the trowel (2) is being urged along the guide opening (20) for forming the grooves (9). Parts (24 and 25) of the template (1) may be pivoted about the hinges (12) relative to each other so that the parts (24 and 25) of the template (1) may be placed on surfaces of walls extending at an angle to each other.
