摘要： The validator has a transmit coil TC for creating a magnetic field and a receive RC coil for detecting changes in the field due to the presence of a coin adjacent to the coils. The validator performs a test on each coin to provide a first parameter which is a measure of coin face area, and a second parameter which is a measure of coin resistance.
The parameters are utilised to establish the validity of the coin.
