    摘要: A polishing system (10) includes a robotic polishing assembly (12), a belt removal assembly, and a controller (14). The robotic polishing assembly (12) includes an end effector (22). The end effector (22) includes a polishing arm (38), a motor (40), and a tool head (42). The tool head (42) extends along a lengthwise axis (92) between and to an inner end (94) and a tip end (96). The tool head (42) includes a belt tensioner (98), a roller (100), and an abrasive belt (44). The belt tensioner (98) is configured to bias the tip end (96) outward from the inner end (94). The abrasive belt (44) is disposed on the motor (40) and the roller (100). The belt removal assembly includes a first lateral arm (172), a second lateral arm (174), and a back stop (176). The controller (14) includes a processor (140) in communication with a non-transitory memory (142) storing instructions, which instructions when executed by the processor (140), cause the processor (140) to: identify an end-of-life condition is present for the abrasive belt (44) and remove the abrasive belt (44) from the tool head (42).
