摘要: The present invention aims to achieve a lower cost of a negative pressure source and thereby of a cloth spreading apparatus and/or a reduction in power consumption of a negative pressure source during operation of a cloth spreading apparatus. This cloth spreading apparatus includes: a spreading unit having spreading clamps that spread an upper-side part of a fed cloth in a right-left direction; and an ejection unit having an intermediate movable body that, while moving backward from a forward position, releases the upper-side part of the cloth that the intermediate movable body has received from the spreading clamps in the forward position and held onto an upper surface by sucking, and a belt conveyor that receives the upper-side part of the cloth having been released by the intermediate movable body and ejects the entire cloth backward. The ejection unit has: a large number of suction holes that are dispersedly disposed in the upper surface of the intermediate movable body, at least over a lateral range corresponding to a set maximum lateral width of the upper-side part of the cloth; a negative pressure source that sucks out air inside the intermediate movable body to form a negative pressure region inside the intermediate movable body; and sucking force maintaining means that maintains a sucking force of the suction holes regardless of whether the lateral width of the upper-side part of the cloth is large or small.

摘要: In this cloth supply device, a level difference between feeding clamps is varied according to the width of an upper edge part of a cloth, which, combined with retaining a plurality of cloths, increases the processing efficiency of a cloth spreading apparatus. The device includes: double feeding paths which are provided at one or more locations and of which lower parts extend upward parallel to each other while upper parts merge with each other; a common conveying path into which the double feeding paths further merge after merging with each other; a pair of conveying clamps that respectively pass through the double feeding paths independently of each other and respectively grasp the adjacent corners of the cloth; a supply path that branches off from the common conveying path and extends to a position of delivery to the pair of spreading clamps; corner independent feeding means that raises the pair of conveying clamps independently of each other by the double feeding paths, as well as passes the pair of conveying clamps in tandem through the common conveying path; and corner transfer means that passes the pair of conveying clamps from the common conveying path to the supply path and transfers both corners of the cloth grasped by the pair of conveying clamps to the pair of spreading clamps.

摘要: In this cloth supply device, a moving distance of spreading clamps in spreading a cloth is reduced regardless of the difference in type of cloth to thereby shorten the spreading time and increase the processing efficiency. The device includes: double measurement paths through which a pair of conveying clamps that are respectively fed with adjacent corners of the upper edge part of a cloth and grasp these corners respectively pass side by side; a sag sensor that measures a degree of sagging of the upper edge part of the cloth between the corners having been respectively grasped by the pair of conveying clamps passing through the double measurement paths side by side; multiple sag-specific supply paths that are specified according to the degree of sagging of the upper edge part and each branch off from the double measurement paths; and cloth classification and supply control means that passes the pair of conveying clamps grasping the corners of the cloth respectively through double sag-specific supply paths corresponding to the degree of sagging of the upper edge part of that cloth among the multiple sag-specific supply paths, and transfers the corners of the cloth from the pair of conveying clamps to the pair of spreading clamps that are positioned so as to correspond to these double sag-specific supply paths.
