摘要: A positive-electrode active material contains a lithium composite oxide, wherein the lithium composite oxide is a multiphase mixture having a first phase with a crystal structure belonging to a space group Fm-3m and a second phase with a crystal structure belonging to a space group other than the space group Fm-3m, and in an XRD pattern of the lithium composite oxide, the integrated intensity ratio I (18°-20°) /I (43°-46°) of a first maximum peak located at a diffraction angle 2θ in the range of 18 to 20 degrees to a second maximum peak located at a diffraction angle 2θ in the range of 43 to 46 degrees satisfies 0.05 ≤ I (18°-20°) /I (43°-46°) ≤ 0.90.

摘要: A positive electrode active material according to the present disclosure includes a lithium composite oxide that is a multiphase mixture including a first phase having a crystal structure belonging to a monoclinic crystal (e.g., space group C2/m), a second phase having a crystal structure belonging to a hexagonal crystal (e.g., space group R-3m), and a third phase having a crystal structure belonging to a cubic crystal (e.g., space group Fm-3m or space group Fd-3m). In addition, a battery according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a positive electrode containing the positive electrode active material, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode active material according to the present disclosure improves the capacity of the battery.

摘要: A positive electrode active material contains a lithium composite oxide containing fluorine and oxygen. The ratio Zs of a molar quantity of fluorine to a total molar quantity of fluorine and oxygen, the molar quantity being obtained by measuring the lithium composite oxide through XPS measurement, is higher than the ratio Za of a molar quantity of fluorine to a total molar quantity of fluorine and oxygen in an average composition of the lithium composite oxide. An XRD pattern of the lithium composite oxide shows a first maximum peak at a diffraction angle 2θ of 18° or more and 20° or less and a second maximum peak at a diffraction angle 2θ of 43° or more and 46° or less. The ratio I(18°-20°)/I(43°-46°) of an integrated intensity I(18°-20°) of the first maximum peak to an integrated intensity I(43°-46°) of the second maximum peak satisfies 0.05 ≤ I(18°-20°)/I(43°-46°) ≤ 0.90.
