摘要: A condenser lens for collecting a laser beam (300) is disposed between the laser oscillator and the incident end surface of the optical fiber. The laser beam (300) is divided into a plurality of beams (303, 304). The power of the laser beam (304) is measured and maximized by adjusting the position of the condenser lens. The FFP of the laser beam (303) is measured and minimized by adjusting the position of the condenser lens. These adjusted positions are stored as the first and second lens positions. The FFP of the laser beam (303) is measured while the condenser lens is being moved between these positions so as to make the BPP not more than a predetermined value.

摘要: A fiber spatial coupling device includes a detachable process fiber, an optical system, and a main body. The process fiber guides laser light. The optical system collects the laser light into the process fiber. The main body holds the optical system, and has a supply port for supplying gas to a space between the process fiber and the optical system.

摘要: A laser welding method includes a step of placing a third material between a first material and a second material. The first material and the second material are of metals so as to be weldable to each other, and at least one of which has a protrusion part. The third material is difficult to weld to the first material and the second material and has a through-hole part into which the protrusion part is inserted. The method also includes a step of emitting laser light from the first material side toward a region corresponding to the protrusion part under condition in which the third material is sandwiched between the first material and the second material, so that the first material and the second material are welded via the through-hole part. In the step in which the third material is sandwiched between the first material and the second material, a first gap is disposed between the protrusion part and the inner peripheral face of the through-hole part, and a second gap depending on the plate thickness of the first material in the region corresponding to the protrusion part is disposed between the first material and the second material in the region corresponding to the protrusion part.
