摘要: Surface wave transmission line (103) provided near installation table (101) is formed to have an inclination with respect to a transmission direction of radio frequency power. Accordingly, a distance between surface wave transmission line (103) and installation table (101) becomes large on a side of radio frequency power supply unit (120). This makes absorbance of radio frequency power propagating on surface wave transmission line (103) into object (102) to be heated larger as a portion of object (102) to be heated becomes away from a side of surface wave transmission line (103) from which radio frequency power is supplied. This enables to uniformly heat object (102) to be heated even when a plurality of objects (102) to be heated are aligned and installed or even when object (102) to be heated having a long length is installed with respect to a propagation direction of radio frequency power of surface wave transmission line (103). This also enables to keep installation table (101) horizontal, making it possible to prevent occurrence of a malfunction such as rolling of object (102) to be heated.

摘要: A microwave treatment apparatus (101) comprises: a heating chamber (11); an oscillation source (1) that generates a microwave; a base plate disposed in the heating chamber (11) for placing thereon a heated object (7); and a waveguide (6) that guides the microwave into the heating chamber. The microwave treatment apparatus (101) further comprises: a periodic structure (5) disposed in the waveguide for causing the microwave to propagate in a surface wave mode; a detection antenna (9) near the periodic structure (5); a detector that detects an electromagnetic wave received by the detection antenna (9); and a controller (10) that controls the oscillation source (1). The controller (10) recognizes a power distribution of the electromagnetic field near the periodic structure (5) based on the detected electromagnetic wave and causes the oscillation source (1) to set the oscillation frequency to either a first oscillation frequency or a second oscillation frequency according to the power distribution of the electromagnetic field. In this aspect, a desirable power distribution of the electromagnetic field near the periodic structure can be maintained by correcting a characteristic change of the periodic structure.

摘要: High frequency heating device (100) is provided with heater (110) disposed adjacent to mount base (101) on which object to be heated (102) is mounted and having a plurality of surface wave transmission lines (111a, 111b) electrically isolated from each other, and first and second high frequency power generators (120a, 120b), each of which generates high frequency power having different frequency. Surface wave transmission lines (111a, 111b) receive at least one of the high frequency power generated by first high frequency power generator (120a) and the high frequency power generated by second high frequency power generator (120b). According to this aspect, interference between the high frequency powers is not occurred and electromagnetic field coupling is not occurred. As a result, in the high frequency heating device provided with the surface wave transmission line using a periodic structure, uneven baking caused by the electromagnetic field coupling can be suppressed, and a heating state of an object to be heated can be easily controlled.

摘要: A high-frequency heating device (1a) includes a generation unit (8), a surface wave exciter (10), a first connecting unit (12), and a reuse unit (14). The generation unit (8) generates microwaves. The surface wave exciter (10) includes a periodic structure and heats a heating subject (6) by propagating the microwaves in a surface wave mode. The first connecting unit (12) is disposed at one end portion (15) of the surface wave exciter (10). The microwaves generated by the generation unit (8) are supplied to the surface wave exciter (10) through the first connecting unit (12). The reuse unit (14) reuses, for heating the heating subject (6), the microwaves that have reached another end portion (17) of the surface wave exciter (10) located in the propagation direction of the microwaves from one end portion (15) of the surface wave exciter (10). According to the present aspect, microwaves that have not been absorbed by the heating subject can be reused for heating the heating subject.
