The present invention concerns a device for decontaminating surfaces such as a wall, a floor or a ceiling of a building or similar, comprising one or a plurality of toxic products such as asbestos, lead (Pb), PCB's (polychlorinated biphenyls), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH's) and radioactive products, for example, present in many products having a plurality of applications, such as floor and ceiling coatings, wall coatings (paint, insulation, etc.), road surfaces, bituminous adhesives, vapour barriers, sealing materials, the walls of purification plants, the walls of water towers, nuclear cooling towers, nuclear reactor chambers, or similar; said device is remarkable in that it comprises at least one water-jetting head (1) supplied by a high pressure unit (2) and connected to a suction source (3) comprising a vacuum source (4) connected to a cyclonic head (5) mounted on a container (6) in which the water containing toxic products and residues from the support is collected, a first filtration system (7) consisting of a filter press of which the inlet is supplied with the water containing toxic products collected in said container (6) and of which the outlet supplies a buffer vessel (8) in which the water from the first filtration comprises particles smaller than or equal to 5 μm.
