摘要: An injector device, and a method for its operation. For containers with an opening for an injection needle e.g. a syringe. The injector comprises a housing, a seat or a carrier arranged to hold the needle and for allowing movement thereof in relation to the housing between a rear, needle-covering, position and a forward, needle exposing position. It further comprises a penetration arrangement operable to move the needle from the rear position to the forward position, a return arrangement to move the needle in the rearward direction, and an injection arrangement to expel container content through the needle. It also comprises a control button arranged on the housing, which, through a transmission and a switch system, stepwise trigs the penetration arrangement and injection arrangement. The button is arranged to have a least a movement component perpendicular to the needle axis.

摘要: A device for deforming and ejecting a deformable intraocular lens for insertion into a small incision in an eye, the device comprising a) a housing, b) a lens transporting duct in a front part of the housing defining a duct axis, the duct having a front end with a cross-section adapted to the lens in deformed state with small maximum dimensions transversal to the duct axis, a rear lens-receiving end with a cross-section adapted for the lens in un-deformed state, or less deformed state, than at the front end, with larger maximum dimensions lateral to the duct axis than at the front end and an intermediate convergent duct part between the front and rear ends with a varying cross-section shape, having decreasing maximum dimensions lateral to the duct axis when moving from rear to front in the duct and c) a plunger operative to displace the lens in the duct at least in the forward direction. According to various aspects of the invention part of the duct has the overall shape of a crescent, the plunger is re-shapeable between different height to width ratios, the device has fixing structures for preventing lens rotation and the plunger is driven with a preprogrammed movement pattern. The invention also includes methods corresponding to the operational steps of the devices.

摘要: A device and use method for ejecting a liquid stream towards an eye, the stream moving from a proximal position towards a distal position, the device comprising a) a housing, b) a container for the liquid, c) at least one opening arranged for ejection of the stream and being in fluid communication with the container, d) a pump mechanism operable to deliver at least part of the liquid from the container through the opening to form the stream and e) an eyecup with a contact surface arranged for contact with the eye or its facial surroundings. The eyecup is arranged movable with respect to the opening or housing between at least two positions i) an active position with said eyecup contact surface at a defined safety distance to the opening and ii) a rest position with the eyecup contact surface at a position more proximal than in the active position and a sensor is arranged to allow discrimination between the positions. The pump mechanism may include a pump driver able to store cocked energy for driving the pump mechanism and at least one activation mechanism may be present and operable to initiative the device for the liquid delivery, whereby a driving mechanism is arranged to transform manual or stored energy both i) into cocked energy of the pump driver and ii) into direct or stored energy for operation of the activation mechanism.
