摘要: A case (1) for a thermometer (5) for measuring the body temperature of a sick individual comprising a compartment (2) extending along a major longitudinal axis (X-X) with one open end (4), for receiving the thermometer (5) into the compartment, said compartment (2) having at least one transparent zone (6) with a magnifying glass effect for reading of the graduated scale (7) of the thermometer (5) when the latter is within the compartment (2) of the case, said transparent zone (6) forming part of a wall (8) of the compartment of the case, said compartment (2) further comprising a wall (9) whose outer surface forms a base surface of the case, characterized in that said transparent zone (6) with the magnifying glass effect forms a surface (8) that intersects said base surface (9) of the case, and forms an angle (α) therewith, whose vertex (V) is placed on the side of the case (1) from which the graduated scale of the thermometer is read through said transparent zone.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device (1) for shaking a clinical thermometer (2), of the type using a material that expands under heat along the tube. The device (1) comprises a longitudinal housing (9), in which the body (3) of the thermometer (2) is placed, means (16, 17, 18) for firmly retaining the body (3) of the thermometer, in both longitudinal and transverse directions, within said housing (9), and an appendage (19) flexibly connected to the end (15) of the housing (9) that is opposite to the end (14) in which the bulb (6) of the tube of the thermometer is located, when the latter is placed in the housing (9).
The appendage (19) has a longitudinal slot (21) which defines, by its longitudinal sides, a pair of braces (22, 23) connecting the appendage (19) to the housing (9). The braces (22, 23), defined by the sides of said slot (21) formed in said appendage (19) have at least one respective transverse depression (24, 25), which is intended to enhance its flexibility.
The appendage (19) also has a wall (20), placed transverse to the longitudinal extent of said appendage (19) and of said housing (9). In order to perform the shaking movement, the device is held at the appendage 19 using both the opening 21 and the wall 20 for safely retaining it between the fingers of the hand. The shaking movement is facilitated by the presence of the depressions 24 and 25 on the braces 22 and 23, without excessively affecting the life of the device.
