摘要： A modular peripheral error warning device (10) for use with printers having a Centronics parallel port (20). The peripheral error warning device monitors various voltages of connecting wires (18) that interface with the computer and the printer (22) and includes an interface box (12), an alarm box (14), and a power supply (16). Activation of an alarm, such as a buzzer (36) or LED (34), will occur if the monitored voltage corresponds to printer error, such as a paper jam. Correction of the printer error results in deactivation of the alarm.
