摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that provide for reduced timing between certain downlink communications and responsive uplink communications relative to certain legacy systems (e.g., legacy LTE systems). A user equipment (UE) or base station may be capable of operating using two or more timing configurations that each include an associated time period between receipt of a downlink communication (e.g., a grant of uplink resources or shared channel data) and a responsive uplink communication (e.g., an uplink transmission using the granted uplink resources or feedback of successful reception of the shared channel data). In cases where a UE or base station are capable of two or more timing configurations, a timing configuration for a transmission may be determined and the responsive uplink communication transmitted according to the determined timing configuration.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide for feedback transmissions using an uplink shared channel. A user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback to a base station using physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources. The base station may transmit an uplink grant to the UE indicating a set of resources for uplink data transmissions. The base station may subsequently transmit a downlink grant for the UE. Based on monitoring resources indicated by the downlink grant, the UE may generate feedback indicating the success of receiving or decoding the PDSCH transmission. The UE may transmit the feedback to the base station on the PUSCH resources. In some cases, the UE may transmit both the feedback for the PDSCH transmission received after the uplink grant and for a second PDSCH transmission received prior to the uplink grant using PUSCH resources.

摘要: Rate-matching and channel estimation are disclosed for new radio (NR) user equipments (UEs). An NR UE obtains coexistence information of neighboring legacy operations including common reference signal (CRS) ports, CRS frequency pattern, and a legacy subframe type corresponding to the NR transmission segments. The NR UE determines legacy CRS occasion(s) coinciding with shared downlink direction operations for the NR and legacy operations, and rate-matches reception of NR downlink transmissions around the CRS occasion(s). In other aspects, an NR UE detects overlap of a downlink signal with downlink control channel candidate of a configured control resource set (CORESET). The UE ends monitoring of the candidate within a search space of the CORESET in response to the detected overlap, detects a collision between a scheduled demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and the downlink signal occasion, and discards all or part of the CORESET.
