    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for managing sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions in shared radio frequency spectrum. Described techniques provide for increased occasions at which a SRS may be transmitted, enhance likelihood of a successful listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, or any combinations thereof. Increased occasions for SRS may be provided through multiple transmission times that are available in the event of an earlier LBT failure. Enhanced likelihood of successful LBT may be provided through one or more timing offsets that may be randomly selected from a set of available timing offsets, selection of a cyclic prefix length for a SRS based on whether the SRS transmission is within or outside of a channel occupancy time of a base station, providing an initial SRS transmission time for an initial periodic time interval, triggering of an aperiodic SRS within the channel occupancy time, or any combinations thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for group or one-shot acknowledgment (ACK) feedback reporting, in which feedback for a number of different downlink transmissions may be provided by a user equipment (UE) to a base station. A base station may trigger a one-shot feedback report that includes less than all of the ACK feedback that is available at the UE to provide in a report. The ACK feedback may include an indication of an ACK or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) along with information related to a data indicator associated with the downlink transmission. In some cases regular ACK feedback reports and one-shot feedback reports may be multiplexed and transmitted by a LTE. Further, a last downlink transmission to be included in a one-shot feedback report may be determined based on a receipt time of scheduling information or an ACK feedback timeline.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating positioning reference signals (PRSs) for narrowband communication are provided. A first wireless communication device determines a time-frequency PRS pattern based at least in part on a narrowband communication frequency band configuration and a PRS subframe configuration mode associated with a set of subframes. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a plurality of PRSs using the determined PRS time-frequency pattern in the set of subframes. The PRS subframe configuration mode can indicate a first configuration including a bitmap indicating a set of PRS subframes positioned within a group of contiguous subframes, a second configuration indicating a subset of the group of contiguous subframes that may carry the PRSs, or a combination thereof. The first configuration and/or the second configuration can be used to indicate the set of subframes.
