摘要： A modular sheet-feeding apparatus (10) for connection to a copying machine (1, 2) in which a plurality of cassettes (12a-12e) are placed on a series of tables. The tables are mounted as a group and individually positioned for feeding sheets into the copying machine (1, 2). The modular sheet-feeding apparatus (10) can either include its own feed rolls (13a-13e) for each table or use one feed roll that is mounted within the main frame (1) to be moved into and out of sheet-feeding position.

摘要： A cassette (5) is disclosed that allows the extraction of sheets in either a short-edge or long-edge direction. The cassette (15) has openings (6a) on the short edge and long edge of its base and adjacent sides to apply an upward force from below through one of the apertures (6a) so that. depending on the direction in which the cassette (5) is inserted into a sheet-using machine, the sheets can be inclined and extracted in either of two orthogonal directions.
