摘要: The invention relates mainly to room elements (31) in ship building industry, like various kinds of storage and handling spaces manufactured of corrugated sheet elements. Thanks to the structure of corrugated sheet elements and to the profiled battens (16) invented for joining to each other such corrugated sheet elements, the room elements can be prefabricated and moved onboard the ship as extensively equipped and tested units. They can be tailor-made to fit to the available spaces and they can be joined to room element clusters already at the factory or after they have been moved onboard the ship. They can be fitted in respect to the pillars (5) within the ship so that the pillars are concealed into the corrugation channels of the corrugated sheets, whereby the space onboard the ship can be utilized completely. When joined to each other and/or fastened to surrounding floor, ceiling and/or wall structures, the room elements are well capable to accommodate the forces caused by the motions of the ship. The room elements can be manufactured according to the most stringent hygienic requirements, they can be effectively insulated from each other and they are easy and quick to fabricate and erect.

摘要: The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for handling luggage to and from a cabin-related cruiser. The arrangement and the method for handling luggage comprising cassettes, with at least four wheels, which accommodate suitcases of standard size and into which all the suitcases for a cabin are loaded, and wheeled pallets on each of which three to six cassettes carrying suitcases can be loaded and which are designed so as to be readily transported in the cruiser's corridors. The cabins are fitted with a separate space, such as a cassette cupboard, for the cassette.

摘要: The invention relates to a distribution method in passenger vessels, car ferries and similar vessels comprising a number of passenger cabins (2a) and at least one vertical conveyor (1) suitable for transportation of goods and opening to decks containing cabins in order to transport goods units (5) needed in cabins or other ways in numerous similar operation sites (2) within the ship at least between operation sites and ship's loading port (4a) or collection site (4) comprising storage room or centralized handling plant (4) for goods. The distribution method comprises following stages: in the collecting site (4) the goods units (5) are placed onto the transport pallet (6); the transport pallets with their goods units are moved by means of the platform of the ship's internal vertical conveyor to the ship's deck (K), where at least a part of the operation sites (2) are located. If need be, the goods units (5) are transported in reverse direction from the operation sites (2) to the collecting site (4) by means of collecting procedures realized in reverse order.

摘要: A cargo ship for transporting various wheeled vehicles, such as cars, and in addition, containers and palletized general goods or equivalent cargo units simultaneously, said ship comprising: a hull consisting of a bottom structure (103), the sides (3), and a potential strength deck, said hull, forming a shell structure, mainly bears the forces directed at the ship; the power mechanism (9) of the ship; cargo handling openings (10A, 13, 14) in the hull for conveying cargo units into the cargo space and out therefrom; and cargo handling equipment with equivalent mechanism for moving cargo units within the cargo space. The cargo space of a ship consists of at least two cargo space sections of different types so that a first cargo space section consists of one or more space grillage structures (4, 5, 6, 10C), this being a selfsupporting complex and so supported flexibly to the hull of the ship that the deformations of the hull during the passage are not entirely transmitted to the space grillage structure; and the second cargo space section consisting of container holds (7) and/or pallet platform holds provided with guides, wherein the containers, respectively the heavy-weight cargo on the pallet platforms are loaded and unloaded mainly vertically. Said first cargo space sections and second cargo space sections are located, at least partly, next to one another, for arranging the light-weight cargo formed by the wheeled vehicles in the upper part, and for positioning the heavy cargo formed by the containers and general goods and bulk goods in the lower parts of the ship, thus, to avoid the use of ballast water at least partly.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pallet (1) for transporting general goods, comprising mainly a rectangular and flat base (2) of fixed dimensions, on which the general goods to be transported are positioned and which is provided with fastening members (5) for locking said general goods to the pallet during transportation. If needed, for enlarging the loading surface area, the transport pallet comprises extension pieces (3) consisting of permanent and planar components (10 to 17) of the transport pallet (1) to be transferred outwards (D1) from the fixed loading surface area (A1) defined by the base, the thickness of said components in orthogonal direction against the loading surface (4) of the base being equal or smaller than the thickness of the base (2) in the same direction and the surface (6) whereof to be against the load and both in the outmoved and inserted position of said extension pieces being located between the planes defining the top and bottom surfaces of the transport pallet, whereby the base (2) and the outmoved extension pieces together form the enlarged loading surface area (A1+A2) of the pallet substantially on the same plane.
