A metering assembly (24) includes a metering cylinder (28), a metering element (100) reciprocally movable in the interior of the metering cylinder (28) and a switching valve (30) to switch the metering assembly (24) between a metering mode wherein material flows into the metering cylinder (28) and thereby displaces the metering element (100) and a discharge mode. A metering element drive (112) moves the metering element (100) into the metering cylinder (28) during the discharge mode to displace material thereby to dispense material through dispensing nozzle (20). A lift bracket (40) is mounted for common equidistant movement with the metering element (100), and the dispensing nozzle (20) is interconnected to the lift bracket (40) for equidistant movement in one direction.

    摘要: A mixing apparatus (10) dispenses a composite material blended from metered components (12, 16). The apparatus (10) includes a blending assembly (60) for blending the components into the composite material and for thereafter dispensing the composite material out of a dispensing nozzle (36). The apparatus (10) also has metering assemblies (20, 40) which are in communication with a respective component and which are each switchable between a measuring mode and a discharge mode. A control system concurrently places the metering assemblies (20, 40) in the discharge mode, and an ejection assembly concurrently ejects the selected quantities of the components into the blending assembly (60) and thereafter out of the dispensing nozzle (36). The blending assembly (60) is disclosed to be a static or a dynamic. The metering assemblies (20, 40) may include metering cylinders (24, 44) that are mechanically linked of otherwise controlled to measure and dispense the components, and structure is provided to allow variation in the ratios and quantities of the components.
