摘要:
During the blanking process of a transverse element for a push belt for a continuously variable transmission, use is made of, among other things, a supporting member for supporting the transverse element and a mould (45) having a receiving space for receiving the supporting member and forming a circumferential surface of the transverse element. Parts of an inner surface of the receiving space are provided with a relief (71) having alternating ribs (74) and grooves (72) , which serves for forming a similar relief on parts of the circumferential surface of the transverse element . Top parts (75) of the ribs (74) are substantially flat, so that a good guidance of the supporting member is obtained during the blanking process of the transverse element, and the formation of the transverse element takes place in an accurate fashion.
摘要:
The invention relates to a drive belt (3) for a continuously variable transmission having two self-contained bearers (5) on which a large number of transverse elements (4) are accommodated, the bearers (5) being accommodated in a recess of the transverse elements (4). A base part (6) of the transverse element (4) is situated below the abovementioned recess, and a head part (7) is situated above it, which parts (6, 7) are interconnected by means of a connecting piece (8) of the transverse element (4), which is situated in the transverse direction between the bearers (5). The transverse elements (4) furthermore comprise two main sides (9) directed for mutual contact, at least one main side (9) of which is provided with defined contact zones (14, 15, 16), which to that end lie higher up than other parts of the main side (9) concerned lying lower down, a surface of contact zones (16) situated in the head part (7) being at least equal to a surface of contact zones (14, 15) situated in the base part (6).

The invention relates to a transverse element (16) for a drive belt (3) comprising a body part (10), a neck part (11) connected to the body part (10) and a head part (12) connected to the neck part (11), which head part (12) is provided with a projecting boss (6), whereby a front main face of the transverse element (16) incorporates three minimally thickened contact regions (15, 14; 18) intended for contacting a rear main surface of an adjacent element (16) in the belt (3), whereof two lower contact regions (15) are arranged most laterally on the body part (10) near the bearing surfaces thereof and one upper contact region (14; 18) is arranged above the projecting boss (6) on the head part (12) near an upper edge thereof. An upper edge of the head part (12) extending in an essentially lateral direction over at least the lateral width of the projecting boss (6), preferably in a straight line, but possibly convexly or concavely curved at a radius of 10 mm or more.
