    摘要: In a voltage regulator for a generator that can be driven by an internal combustion engine, the end stage transistor for influencing the exciter current is driven by means of a pulse width modulator. The digital pulse width modulator used is part of an exciter current regulating circuit that uses the generator voltage as real value and regulates the pulse width duty factor depending on the sensed generator voltage. In addition, the system is dampened in that a whole duty factor period can be overridingly switched off. The duration of the overridingly switched off period can be adapted to the duty factor, so that voltage is changed independently of the duty factor. The maximum current rising rate can thus be limited by limiting the maximum rate of change of the pulse width modulator.
