    摘要: Disclosed is a modified preceramic polymer having a polymer backbone consisting of silicon or a combination of silicon and carbon; and a pendant modifier bonded to the backbone wherein the modifier includes silicon, boron, aluminum, a transition metal, a refractory metal, or a combination thereof. The modified preceramic polymer can be used to form a ceramic matrix composite, wherein the matrix comprises silicon carbide and metal carbide and the metal carbide is homogeneously dispersed throughout the silicon carbide. The preceramic polymer is a polysilane, a polycarbosilane, or a mixture of polysilane and polycarbosilane, and/or the preceramic polymer comprises a vinyl group. T he pendant modifier includes silicon, boron, aluminum, titanium, zirconium, hafnium, vanadium, chromium, niobium, tantalum, molybdenum, tungsten or rhenium.
