摘要: The present invention provides a process for regeneration of the sulfur capturing spent adsorbents after sulfur capturing using a hydrolyzing agent under adiabatic conditions. In accordance with the process of the present invention hydrolyzing agent is introduced to the spent adsorbent in a controlled manner such that the exothermic heat generated within the adsorbent bed does not rise above the predetermined temperature limit.
