Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for producing middle distillates comprising, hydrogen, gasoline and middle distillate, which comprises at least the following steps: (i) dehydrogenation of a heavy naphtha; (ii) alkylation of the stream of dehydrogenated; and (iii) separation of at least a middle distillate and other fraction rich in gasoline; and wherein a total or partial separation of hydrogen produced in step (i) can be carried out between steps (i) and (ii) or between steps (ii) and (iii) in order to obtain a stream of hydrogen.
