Said hook (30, 32) is formed by folding or swaging the arm (26, 28), and the guiding surface (40, 42) is connected to said hook, in the fixing direction (60).

The invention proposes that the fixing means (50, 54, 56) press against the spring rails (22) in the mounted state of the end cap (28) via a head rail (16) of the wiper strip (12) at such a force that a frictional connection sufficient for axial fixation is provided between the spring rails (22) and the head strip (16), or the fixing means (50, 54, 56).
