摘要： The invention relates to an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, comprising a coil former (2) with a contact element (3) and a high-voltage outgoing line (5), and a winding (9) comprising a winding wire (10) which is arranged on the coil former (2), wherein the coil former (2) comprises a large number of coil chambers (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26), and wherein in each case one winding section (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) of the winding (9) is arranged in a coil chamber, wherein the coil former (2) comprises a slot-like channel (4), which runs beneath at least one of the coil chambers, and wherein the winding wire (10) runs through the slot-like channel (4).
