Said device comprises a base (12), an injection housing (14) and a tensioning device (48). Said tensioning device (48) includes at least one adjusting nut (16) with an annular link (32) and an annular collar (40) on the injection housing (14). The tensioning device (48) axially braces the injection housing (14) with the base (12). The injection device further comprises a fuel inlet (24) and at least one valve element (22). In order to improve sealing between the base (12) and the injection housing (14), the tensioning device (48) is provided with at least one annular surface facing the annular link (32) of the adjusting screw (16) and being convex in the manner of a spherical segment surface (41).
