The invention concerns a device with a housing and at least one electrical component, said housing containing at least one of the electrical components and being filled, at least in part, with a passivating agent. The invention also provides that the electrical component is at least partially covered by the passivating agent. The invention is characterized in that an additional material layer is applied to the passivating agent. This additional material layer enables the realization of a simple and cost-effective construction of a device that is resistant to environmental damages. This makes it possible to use electrical components in corrosive environments.
