Disclosed herein is an Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) imaging method comprising: illuminating a target (25) with radar signals transmitted by at least one of 3 radar sensors each carried by a respective airborne /spaceborne platform (21, 22, 23, 24), S being an integer higher than one; receiving by means of the S radar sensors the radar signals back-scattered by the illuminated target (25); and forming, when said S radar sensors are arranged according to a multi-grazing arrangement with respect to the illuminated target (25), an Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) image on the basis of the received radar signals.
