The present invention also includes a method of encapturing the tabs (22) in the jacket base (18) before the cover (16) is positioned on the jacket base (18).

The wiper spring (44) is preferably metal, such as phosphor bronze, beryllium copper or stainless steel. The wiper spring (44) is attached to the jacket base (18) by two or more posts (46) in the shell which protrudes through openings (48) formed in the spring (44) and which are peened to hold the spring (44) in place.
