@ Biaxial tensile tests are usually carried out on a special test-machine in which a square rubber specimen is stretched on two sides in order to measure or obtain mechanical magnitudes of the rubber compound. The improvement consists therein that the biaxial tensile condition is obtained by a symmetric extension of a circular rubber specimen (1). This arrangement greatly simplifies the kinematics of the rubber extension, with the advantage that only one pulling force via a wire (9) is applied. In this way an accurate and reliable biaxial tensile test can be arranged with a relatively simple device mounted on a standard test-machine which can be connected to a recorder for visualizing the pulling forces and rubber elongations.

The improvement prevents fast ageing and oxidising of the lubricant in a standard rolling bearing. These objectives are achieved by applying, adjacent the seal member (6), an annular member (5) having magnetic properties and being provided with pockets or (small) reservoirs (8) filled with the magnetic lubricant. Due to this arrangement a "fresh" quantity of lubricant will always be available to provision the present lubricant in the bearing.

One part (2) forming the driving means i.e. galvanic element (8), its activating means (10,14)together with the cylindrical disk (5) and its membrean (6) being a separate unit, which is detachable connected with the housing (1). Said housing (1) is permanent connected to an apparatus and can always be refilled with grease (4).

At least one of the sealing rings and/or one of the races (57) is provided with flow generating means (12;27;31;54-56;61) for feeding a lubricant into said space, as well as filtering means (19;26;30;36;53;64;71) for preventing the ingress of contaminations into said space with said lubricant. Preferably at least one of the sealing rings at its edge which slidably contacts one of the races has a shape which promotes the outflow out of said space towards the outside of said sealing ring during relative movement of said sealing ring and race.

It has been noted that the seal-lips of the Hub Bearing Unit-Generation III seal which support against the rotating innerring become less effective when being subjected to heavy loads or in particular relatively high temperature. According to the claimed measure the seal arrangement (7) comprises a resilient annular body (10) which by means of a ring like element (8) is connected to the rotating innerring (1), whilst the other seal-end supports against the side of the non-rotating outerring (2). Preferably this seal-end of the annular body (10) comprises a ring (11) of self-lubricating material and by special shaping the contact-surface of this ring (11) against the outerring (2) friction witt be diminished.
