摘要： An information processing apparatus, method and program for allowing a viewer to find his desired program in a simple manner. Feature words extracted from program information are stored in a serve as a feature word file (103) and also as an association file (102) in which the feature words are associated with ID’s for identifying programs. The server reads, from the association file (102), the ID of a program corresponding to a feature word selected from the feature word file (103) by the viewer as his interested word, and reads, from a program information file (101), the program information corresponding to the read ID, and then provides the program information to the viewer. This invention can be applied to recording/reproducing apparatuses and television receivers that provide desired programs.

摘要： An information processing apparatus and method capable of easily providing a search result desired by a user in broadcast content search. A search space processor (103) acquires a search keyword according to search information from a user terminal and searches for search-related keyword data related to the search keyword from a search keyword dictionary DB. According to the search keyword and the search-related keyword data, the search space processor (103) generates a search keyword space and executes a correction processing. A search processor (104) performs matching between the search keyword space corrected and the EPG data and EPG keyword space. A search display processor (105) transmits the matching result as list information via a communication unit (99) to a user terminal. The present invention can be applied to a system for providing broadcast content information via the Internet.
