    摘要： @ A power control circuit for a color encoder of a video camera having a camera head portion (10A), a signal processing circuit (2) for generating a luminance signal and a chrominance signal, a color encoder (7) supplied with the luminance signal and the chrominance signal and for generating a composite video signal (5C), and an external output terminal (3D,3E) at which the composite video signal is obtained is disclosed, which includes a power switch (15) for controlling the power supply to the color encoder (7), a comparator (21) connected to the external output terminal (3D,3E) and for comparing the level of a synchronizing signal at the external output terminal with a reference level and a control circuit (25,26, 31,32,33) supplied with the output of the comparator (21) and for controlling the power switch (15) such that the power switch is turned on when the external output terminal is terminated.
