摘要： A pill-type thermistor (33) is used to monitor the temperature of liquid heating apparatus. One metallised surface of the thermistor (33) is in direct thermal and electrical contact with a mounting location (35) on a heater (31) of the apparatus. Electrical contact is made to the other metallised surface of the thermistor (33) by a spring (39). In another arrangement the thermistor (33) is held in a carrier at the end of a leaf spring. The carrier is biased into thermal contact with the heater (31). A simple temperature monitoring arrangement is thereby provided.
